We build above the minimum
Plenty of builders will meet the standard and stop there. In a region that gets hot summer afternoons and frosty winter mornings, meeting the standard is not the same as building a comfortable home.
Our builds tend to exceed the minimum industry requirements. Spacious rooms, higher ceilings, better insulation, glazing selected for the aspect, and thoughtful design elements that make the difference between a home that looks good in photos and one that is genuinely nice to live in at both ends of the year. It costs a little more to build that way. It costs considerably less to live in.
A guided process from start to finish
As a new homeowner, the process of building should be exciting and filled with anticipation.
In reality, building a home is actually a very complex process – but that part is for us to worry about! You are purchasing something new, so it shouldn’t feel like you’re taking on a second job.
Our goal is to provide you with transparency at every step while keeping it all in layman’s terms, so you feel informed without it being overwhelming or too technical.
We take the blocks other builders pass on
Land in this region often comes with something attached, whether that is engineered fill from the estate’s civil works, a reactive soil classification, an acoustic or salinity requirement, a bushfire rating out on the fringes, or an estate design panel with firm opinions about your roof.
None of it is a problem once someone has read it properly and designed for it. That is the part we enjoy. We will tell you honestly what your block needs and what it will cost, and then we will build it properly, from what lies beneath the slab to the finishing touches. Plenty of the best homes we see come off blocks that looked difficult on paper.
