Acreage and Rural Homes
Wide frontage and split level designs that emphasise indoor-outdoor flow and make the most of rural blocks. An acreage home is ideal for growing families or clients looking for their forever home in locations like Exeter, Sutton Forest, Robertson and the country out past Marulan.
Split Level Homes
A split level home steps up or down the slope of your block in two or three levels, following the natural contour rather than fighting it. You keep the outlook, you keep the connection to the garden, and you spend a good deal less on moving dirt.

When it comes to choosing a home design, our Habitat home design range gives you a flexible starting point. Choose one of our pre-designed plans for our best value and speed to build, or you can take any plan as a base and personalise it into a modified design to suit your preferences.
We can also work with you on a fully custom home led by your vision and shaped by your lifestyle. No matter your choice, you stay in control of your home while we guide you with expert advice grounded in local knowledge.
Don’t want to be locked into our floorplans? That’s fine! Our Habitat range is actually the best starting point to modify a design to your liking.
Rather than starting from scratch with a custom plan, simply choose any of our habitat plans and get to modifying. Think of our plans like a template giving you a starting point to realise your new home sooner.
Built for the Highlands climate
The Southern Highlands sits between six and nine hundred metres above sea level, which means genuine winters with frost, the occasional fall of snow, and summers that get properly hot. A home built to the bare minimum will feel it in July.
So we build above the minimum as a matter of course. Better insulation through the walls and roof. Glazing chosen for the orientation rather than the price list. Living areas placed to catch the winter sun and shaded from the worst of the summer afternoon. Higher ceilings and generous rooms, with heating designed in rather than added on later.
You notice it in a home that holds its temperature overnight, costs less to run, and stays comfortable through the shoulder seasons when the Highlands is at its best. It is the single biggest difference between a home designed for this region and a plan lifted from somewhere else.
